Bangor P7 (U11) squad are heading away on a truly international tour this weekend to celebrate their time at mini rugby coming to an end. The boys are heading to St Jean de Luz outside Biarritz in France and are participating in a blitz competition across the border in San Sebastián, Spain.

The majority of the squad have been together since P2 and it has been a pleasure for the coaches and parents to see them develop over this period.

The action packed three night trip will see the boys playing against Bera Bera RFC and Athletico club de San Sebastián on the Sunday before tackling some White Water Rafting on the River Nive the following day.

There has been a lot of hard work put in over the past six months by the parents and players on fund raising and they are grateful to everyone who has supported these efforts. In addition the squad are grateful to Little Wing Pizzeria, Asda, TDK Property Consultants, Reeds Rains, Armstrongs Mortgage Services and CMG Cunningham Dickey Solicitors for their sponsorship of the tour kit.
