It is with a heavy heart that we have been informed of Stevie Harris’s passing after a relatively short battle with illness
Everyone involved with the Bangor RFC is devastated, and it was fitting to see him at the Club on Saturday with his close friends Mossie and Glenn.
Stevie was a great player for the club in 80’s, 90’s & 00’s, playing across all the teams, and definitely a bloke you’d want with you on the pitch as opposed to against!
Stevie's funeral service will be at Bangor Abbey 1400hrs on Friday 10th May, and from there to Roselawn for cremation. Please note that the cremation is not for attendees to be present and this was at Stevie’s request.
Afterwards you are all invited by Richard, Marian and the family to the Civil Defence Club, Victoria Road, Bangor, for refreshments.
The family and Gillian appreciate all your kind wishes at this most difficult of times.
I know that we will all do him proud on the day.
