Due to the outbreak and subsequent spread of the coronavirus, particularly in northern Italy, the IRFU, on the instruction of the Irish Government, called off the Ireland v Italy Six Nations match which was due to be played on Saturday 7th March 2020 at the Aviva Stadium. While talks are ongoing to set a new date for this fixture, the reality is that it may be some time before any decision can be taken.

While we appreciate the upset and disruption this has caused to all those affected, all we can do at this time is advise those who have tickets to keep them in a safe place. Should the postponed fixture be rearranged, there is a strong possibility that the tickets will remain valid.

It would be helpful if Schools and Clubs would forward this letter to those staff and members to whom they have issued tickets.
