With the club still very much under construction with the ongoing redevelopment work, it was a smaller affair than usual, but that didn’t stop the lads enjoying a good night and celebrating the season that’s been.

A massive well done to all the winners and to every player who pulled on the jersey this season. Awards nights are great for recognising individual performances, but rugby is still the ultimate team game, and every training session, every tackle, every carry and every muddy Saturday afternoon contributed to the season we’ve had.

We’re also delighted to welcome our latest group of U18s into senior rugby. The transition from youth rugby can be a big step, but it’s one we’re excited to see them take. To all our new players joining the club and those returning for another season, we’re looking forward to getting stuck in together when pre-season rolls around.

The season had its highs, its lows, a few sore bodies, a few questionable decisions, and probably a few stories that are best left off social media, but the effort shown by the squads throughout the year didn’t go unnoticed!
