Josh will play an important role in helping Bangor RFC strengthen its connections with the wider community and, most importantly, introduce more young people to the game we love.
Working closely with local primary and secondary schools, Josh will be getting out into the community to deliver rugby coaching and activities for boys and girls of all ages, giving young people the opportunity to try rugby in a fun, welcoming and accessible environment.
The aim is not simply to get more players through the door. It’s about building lasting relationships between our local schools and Bangor RFC, encouraging more people to get involved in sport and creating a clear pathway for those who want to take their first steps in rugby.
Following our recent refurbishment, we’re also keen to build on our ambition for Bangor RFC to be more than just a rugby club. We want our facilities to become an increasingly valuable community asset and a place where local schools, families and organisations feel welcome.
Josh will be a key part of helping us make that happen, while continuing to grow participation across Mini, Youth, Girls and Boys Rugby.
We’re excited to have Josh on board and look forward to seeing the impact he can make across the local community.
If your school or organisation would like to get involved, keep an eye out for Josh!
