Bangor’s Mini Rugby P7 section took part in a Mini Blitz under the floodlights at Shaws Bridge last night, along with teams from Instonians, CIYMS, Academy, Lisburn and Cooke.

The Bangor squad comprised Nathan Beattie, Flynn Longstaff, Jack Parkinson, Sean Robinson, Lukas Kenny, Euan Knox, Sam Lennon, Felix Arran, Ben McFarlane, Cal Conroy, John Franklin-Wooldridge, Oliver Scott, Jay Davis, Owen Ross and Jack Mason.

Although the ethos in Mini Rugby is simply to take part, without the pressure of winning or losing, the Bangor team scored more tries than the opposition in every game they played, finally finishing ahead of Instonians in the grand final.

Congratulations to everybody associated with the P7 section on an excellent performance.

With no mini rugby scheduled over the Easter weekend, the next training session at the club will be on Sunday 3rd April at 2pm.
