The girls had trained hard since their last game and although they were missing some of their more experienced players, they set out to give Malone a hard game.
It was a very tight opening quarter with both sides being physical and aggressive. At the set piece the NDL pack made life hard for the much bigger and experienced Malone team. Although going behind by a couple of unconverted trys, the NDL team spirit was high and their support for each other was fantastic. In the second half NDL put immense pressure on Malone and were rewarded with 2 trys which really lifted the team.
This was a most entertaining and enthusiastic game by both teams, with the final score finishing Malone 27 - NDL 10.
